Mr. Waka holds a BA (Hons.) Degree in Economics and an MBA Degree from the University of Nairobi. Before moving into Consultancy, John held senior positions in management,amonst which include Regional Human Resource and Development Manager for Standard Chartered Bank responsible for Human Resource Strategic activities in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya; Director of Human Resources, Sterling Health International for East, Central and
Southern Africa; Management Consultant, Coopers & Lybrand Associates; Associate director of Human Resources; World Vision International responsible for the HR function in the Africa region (32 operations);and Economist, N.S.S.F. of Planning and National Development, responsible for feasibility studies and impact evaluation of major Government Projects.
